The Role of Nationality on the Pacing of Ironman Triathletes We have analyzed the results of 302'535 Ironman triathlets who have understood an Ironman from 2002 to 2015. We have analyzed the times for swimming, cycling and running as well as the total time. The finishers were divided into groups based on their conclusion. It turned out: women were under the stroke faster than men swimming, running, as well as in the change zone. They were slower on the bike as the men.
With regard to the conclusion, the Germans were the fastest among men as in women. We then further evaluated which nations in which discipline are slow or fast on the road. The whole work can be found under https://www.zora.uzh.ch/id/epprint/141776/
