Performance Trends in Master Butterfly Swimmers Competing in the FINA World Championships In swimming, the performance development over the years is usually examined for the top swimmers and most likely for freestile.Rarely, other disciplines such as dolphin are also analyzed. So far, the performance development for age-class athletes in dolphin swimming has never been studied.How have all the dolphin swimmers who swim between 1986 and 2014 at the World Cup of the Masters analyzed.It showed that the men in the age groups were 25-29 to 85-89 years faster than the women, but not in the category 90-94 years. More than 50m, women in the categories were able to reduce the distance to men over the years 30-34 to 60-64 years.Over 100m, this succeeded in the categories 35-39 to 55-59 years.And over 200m, this only succeeded in the categories 30-34 to 40-44 years.
