Anthropometric and training characteristics in ultra-triathletes and ultra-marathoners The editor of Asian Journal of Sports Medicine wants me to write a ‘Invited Review’ on the aspects of training and physique in extreme foreigners such as runners and triathlets. It should be summarized in the current state of knowledge on this topic. We are currently on the analysis of the relationship between nationality and performance in extreme duration competitions. It is generally known that the Kenyans dominate the running tracks to the marathon. What comes after the marathon is not investigated.

Our works show that just 100km and other ultramarathon lines the Japanese are at the top.
