For over three decades, Guy Rossi has immersed himself in the world of ultra triathlons, swimming, biking, and running with unwavering enthusiasm and passion. His journey began in Colmar in 1987 during the 24 Hours of Triathlon, where he completed eight hours each of swimming, cycling, and running solo. This event marked the beginning of a lifelong affair with the triathlon’s elements—water, wind, and earth—which he had been drawn to since his childhood in Marseille. There, he developed his endurance on the volleyball court, eventually playing for the French university and military teams.

Guy Rossi, a physical education teacher, moved to Colmar where he discovered triathlon and dove headfirst into the endurance sport. His career spans 34 seasons of international competitions where he consistently represented his adopted region and country, encountering adventures, emotions, challenges, achievements, and forming meaningful connections. His approach to competition was meticulous; everything was noted, calculated, and analyzed. Between training sessions, Rossi planned and adjusted his strategies with precision, balancing a well-preserved family life with his professional commitments.
