Acute Responses of Novel Cardiac Biomarkers to a 24-h Ultra-Marathon It has long been known that extremely long running loads affect the heart. In this study, various cardiac biomarkers were measured before, during and after a 24-hour run, as well as the heart with echocardiograpy examined.
